Business Plan for Startups App Reviews

I just paid $9.90 for the full document version but now the app crashes when I try to access these documents and templates. Please fix it.

I just purchased this app hoping I would be able to formulate my business plan on my iPhone, while traveling. Unfortunately you can not do that. This app simply provides all the information you need and then gives you templates to forward to a computer to work on. If you want to read and learn, get this app, however if you want to actually get started on your business plan, consider one of the other apps that allows you to do so.

I really like the authors way of describing the start-up issues.

This really works on an iPhone. I planned to read a business plan book but never came around to it before now - in the train to work.

Very informative app for every stage of creating business plans. I found the content to be helpful and a great resource for building business plans on my iPhone. There are example plans, budget plans, marketing plans and guides to starting a business. Highly recommended!

I refuse to pay 9.99 for templates.

Ive read about this app on Reddit and downloaded it of course a bit skeptical. Upon opening the app, I was pretty surprised with what information was offered to me. Im a student trying to work out a business plan with a few friends, so Ive been searching for a few options available on the app store. So far, this is by far the most resourceful and useful app Ive encountered, and I feel inclined to give it a good rating because of its quality. You can tell the developer put effort into this app. After using it for a few days, I can confidently say that its an extremely useful app to reference when adopting the idea of a business plan at all. Definitely give this app a try!

I would easily pay for this app. Literally all of the information and tools you can ask for to create that road map to bring your business idea to light and becoming self-reliant. Sorry if this sounds like a paid review but Im an aspiring business owner and I cannot think of a better way of getting through the planning phase and conceptualizing my business idea. Making this a paid app would make it that much more valuable imo.

This app is ok, wish i didnt spend $4 on it. It really isnt iPad compatible. Typical iPhone app that will run on iPad, but in iPhone layout. Not worth the $4. This app could be so much more!!!

Updated: Maybe I was a little harsh on my initial review. Now that Im more familiar with the structure of the information, I see this app gives quite a bit of good information, and considerations when starting a business. The ability to export documents, templates, and the entire content of the book is very useful. I have been referring to it often as one of several important tools in assembling a business plan. ... Im sure the information presented in this is very valuable, but the presentation is crummy. There is a main menu with sections, and you can progress through the articles with the "next article" link, but you there is no way to just return to the previous page, and god help you if you accidentally click the "articles" button or use the "back" button, both of which take you to the main menu where you get to try to figure out where you just were. Frustrating and distracting. No bookmarking, no way to adjust tiny font size. Dont think I have the patience to get through the whole thing.

Great for the linear, methodical thinker. Tedious for the creative ADD type. Great content though.

This app is a bit long and tedious, but i dont necessarily consider that a bad thing. It has great information, easy steps to follow, lots of examples, and would be helpful to anyone starting a business.

It has plenty of useful content; however, navigation needs improvement. More examples would be nice.

This is exactly what I needed to get my small business off the ground. The step by step process is so simple, it makes setting up my business sucha breeze. I love how I have all this information in the palm of my hands. 5 stars

This is basically everything you need information-wise to get your business off the ground. Its a wealth of knowledge and is well organized and always at your finger tips. Great app and worth the $$.
